They just need a tipping point. And he arrives in the shape of Detective Inspector Stanley Low. He’s brilliant. He’s bipolar. He hates everyone almost as much as he hates himself. His desperate race to find a far-right serial killer will lead him to charismatic Neo-Nazi leaders, incendiary radio hosts, and Metropolitan Police officers who don’t appreciate the foreigner’s interference. No one wants him there, but too many victims with Asian faces keep him there. He craves vengeance, particularly when the murderer makes it personal and promises to kill the only woman that Low ever loved. The Chinese detective is the wrong face in the wrong place.
